Elastic's Generative AI Report reveals trends in AI adoption
Elastic announces the launch of the Elastic Generative AI Report. In collaboration with Vanson Bourne, Elastic has gathered data from over 3,200 decision-makers and influencers in IT, analytics, and data, across ten different countries.
The report offers insights into how organisations are approaching generative AI, the challenges they face, and the opportunities they see. Input came from various countries, including the United States, England, France, Germany, Singapore, India, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands, and Japan.
The findings indicate that generative AI plays a crucial role in organisations' innovation plans, specifically concerning their pursuit of operational efficiency. However, there are also points of concern. The report highlights worries about security, privacy, data quality, and the need for skilled AI specialists.
Although almost all respondents believe that generative AI will bring about groundbreaking changes, the rate of adoption varies by region. India leads the way with 81% adoption, followed by Singapore (63%) and Spain (57%).
A crucial challenge is data quality, with organisations struggling to obtain sufficient suitable data that can be used for training. Search engine-powered generative AI can help with this, as this combination leads to better insights and decision-making. Elastic offers this solution.
