EDE – Data analytics specialist PuurData, based in Ede, can now call itself ISO 27001-certified. This means that an independent assessor has confirmed that PuurData complies with the international standard for information security. The confidentiality, integrity and availability of business-critical information and sensitive customer data are therefore demonstrably well safeguarded.

PuurData handles a great deal of sensitive customer data. A data breach could have serious consequences, either from a competitive perspective or because the information contains personal data.

Van den Brandhof notes that customers are increasingly keen to understand how the security of their data is managed.
