Elasticsearch Platform
The volume of data is growing all the time. To enable the rapid searching, analysis and visualisation of large volumes of data, PuurData works with Elasticsearch. PuurData is an official Elite partner of Elasticsearch.
Elasticsearch: what is it?
Elasticsearch is an open-source solution primarily used to quickly search and analyse large volumes of data. Therefore, the solution is also highly suitable for analyzing and visualising log data. When Elasticsearch is discussed, people often refer to the ELK Stack. This consists of three different applications, namely:
Elasticsearch
Elasticsearch is the analytics engine in the ELK stack and makes it possible to store and search large volumes of data, or to perform analyses on it.
Logstash
Logstash is the ‘central dataflow engine’ in the ELK Stack for collecting, enriching, and consolidating all data, regardless of its format. It provides real-time data processing and is particularly powerful when combined with Kibana and Beats.
Kibana
Kibana provides visualisation. It offers the possibility to visually explore data and analyse it in real-time. In other words: with Kibana, you add data exploration, visualisation and dashboards to your environment.
Elasticsearch: near real-time
The environment operates in ‘near real-time’ and is enormously scalable. Thanks to multitenancy support, the environment can be easily scaled up. Rebalancing and routing of data and workload are done automatically.
Elasticsearch and PuurData
PuurData offers comprehensive support for the ELK Stack, from consultancy and management to licensing. We can help you set up your Elastic environment, connect data sources, and create analyses and visualisations. We can deliver a Proof of Concept within a short timeframe, so you can see results quickly at minimal cost. We also assist you in securing the right support contracts to ensure you receive the best possible support.
