As a Senior Python Developer, you will work from our Ede office on unique applications for our clients. Together with your fellow developers, you will further develop data-driven platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer who feels at home in a complex technical environment and gets energy from building scalable, reliable, and future-proof solutions.

You are part of a multidisciplinary team working on API services, data processing pipelines, integrations with external automotive partners, and a modern cloud landscape.

Your job
You will be working on a wide range of development tasks, covering both front-end and back-end. We develop high-quality products that meet our customers’ requirements, wishes and needs. In this way, the products are continually refined and tailored to our target audience. We work using the Scrum methodology. You’ll have a significant say in how things are built and will work closely with your colleagues at PuurData.

You analyse, design, improve, automate and optimise. You work closely with clients and stakeholders, making you a key link between business and technology.

What are you going to do?

• Design, develop and build Python-based functionality, APIs and data processing for a data-intensive platform based on Clickhouse and Elastic.
• Implementing and testing software.
• Working in a Scrum team on high-quality products in the automotive sector.
• To contribute ideas for improvements in the development process and technical implementation.
• Code quality monitoring, testing, CI/CD and documentation.
• Supporting junior colleagues

What are we asking?

• Extensive demonstrable experience in developing applications and services on data-intensive platforms.
• Extensive experience with Python (Kubernetes, Clickhouse and Elastic are a plus)
• Demonstrable expertise in API development
• Experience with data-driven platforms, data modelling, and integrations.
• Experience with microservices, front-end frameworks, CI/CD, Python, Kubernetes and the Elastic stack is a plus.
• Experience with Pandas, SQLAlchemy, async-IO, microservices is a plus.
• Communicatively skilled, you can explain technical choices in an understandable way to clients.
