Senior Software Developer

Job Description

As a Software Developer (preferably full stack), you will work from our office in Hengelo at our subsidiary eData on unique applications for our clients. Together with your fellow developers, you will further develop our SaaS applications.

Our solutions – including eData Anonymise and eData Publish – are based on microservices, and we primarily program in Java and Python. You will be given ample training opportunities and will work in a flat organisation with a small team and a pleasant working atmosphere. You will work from our creative and easily accessible office in Hengelo. Working from home is possible.

Your job
You’ll be working on a wide range of development tasks, covering both front-end and back-end. We develop high-quality products that meet our clients’ requirements, wishes and needs. In this way, the products are continually refined and tailored to our target audience. We work using the Scrum methodology. You’ll have a significant say in how things are built and will work closely with your colleagues at eData and PuurData.

Requirements

What are you going to do?

  • Developing SaaS modules with Java, Python, Kubernetes, and Elastic.
  • Implementing and testing software.
  • Working in a Scrum team on high-quality products for government organisations.
  • Contribute to improving the development process

What are we asking?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the development of (web) applications.
  • Experience with Java (Python, Kubernetes and Elastic are a plus)
  • Experience with microservices, front-end frameworks, CI/CD, Python, Kubernetes and Elastic is a plus.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Creativity.
  • Working accurately.
  • Team player.
  • Contributing ideas for improvements to the development process.
