Elastic's Generative AI Report reveals trends in AI adoption
Elastic announces the launch of the Elastic Generative AI Report. In collaboration with Vanson Bourne, Elastic collected data from more than 3,200 decision makers and influencers in IT, analytics and data, from ten different countries.
The report provides insights into how organizations are approaching generative AI, the challenges they face, and the opportunities they see. Input came from several countries, including the United States, England, France, Germany, Singapore, India, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands and Japan.
The findings show that generative AI plays a crucial role in organizations' innovation plans, including specifically in their pursuit of operational efficiency. However, there are also points of attention. The report highlights concerns about security, privacy, data quality and the need for skilled AI specialists.
While nearly all respondents believe generative AI will bring game-changing changes, adoption rates vary by region. India leads with 81% adoption, followed by Singapore (63%) and Spain (57%).
A crucial challenge is data quality, with organizations struggling to obtain enough suitable data to use for training. Search engine-powered generative AI can help with this, as the combination leads to better insights and decision-making. Elastic offers this solution.
